This year, I noticed quite a few people from my reading list taking breaks from their blogs. While a week or two off from blogging can be a really remedial thing, I know from my personal experience that getting back into blogging after a break isn’t always so easy.
4 TIPS FOR GETTING BACK INTO BLOGGING
1. Tidy up your blog | Get rid of anything doesn’t matter to you anymore, especially in your sidebar and footer. Update any information that might be outdated and update your new and fresh profile picture on sidebar. Trying a new layout / template if you’re feeling to.
2. Plan | Start brainstorming new content ideas, and create an editorial calendar so you know whats post are coming up for the next week/month.
3. Keep it simple | Remind yourself why you started and why you’re coming back. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself, and make sure that at the end of the day you’re blogging because it truly makes you happy.
4. Re-evaluate your blog’s focus | Do you’re happy with your focus of your blog or if it needs to be updated. If so, decide what topics you’d like to write about on your blog, and maybe come up with a new feature or series you’d like to test out.
