Salam and greetings to all. I’ve tried a new cleanser from my favorite brand, Nanowhite. It’s not a new one from the brand lah, but I’m just excited to try it and for me, it’s still a new one because I’ve never purchased another cleanser from Nanowhite before. So, without waste any time, here we go, Nanowhite Microfoliating Clay Cleanser review.

Review : Before this, I tried Nanowhite Awakening Snow Wash, and because I feel comfortable when using it I kept repurchasing it non-stop. But then, I thought I needed to learn to use another cleanser other than my regular cleanser. So, I purchased this Microfoliating Clay Cleanser from Nanowhite since I read some reviews how good this cleanser is. I purchased this cleanser together with Nanowhite Clarifying Cleansing Milk at Watsons because I wanna try their cleansing milk since it is affordable.

So how good is this cleanser actually? I am satisfied with the cleanser because it cleanses very well, just like it claims. This is proven when I apply toner with facial cotton to remove any left impurities after cleanse but there’s nothing left on the facial cotton. But of course there’s something that makes me also unsatisfied with it. I found it quite drying and tight after using it for my skin although I’m not using ’60 second technique’. There are two types of ingredients in the cleanser which work as an astringent, Vitex Agnus and Castus Extract. Not only that, there’s also Potassium Hydroxide. You may know or may not know that potassium hydroxide is used for controlling the pH of the skin, as for me it is quite drying for my skin. 

What makes this cleanser different than Nanowhite Awakening Snow Wash is the color of the cover of tube. While Awakening Snow Wash has a green cover color, Microfoliating has a white one, so you can tell the difference at a glance. Whatever it is, I love the white packaging of Nanowhite Microfoliating Clay Cleanser more because it looks neat and pure.

When I used this cleanser, I found out I need to squeeze the tube quite hard to use it. I was like ‘why it really hard’ this part really pisses me off. Somehow I think that the cleanser itself doesn’t want me to use it ?. But I try to think positive. The texture of the cleanser itself clarifies everything. The texture Nanowhite chose is clay and contains small particles which it’s said on the packaging for the deep cleanse. Maybe that’s why it’s quite hard to squeeze to use it. But overall I can’t say I love this cleanser 100% or hate it. Maybe just 50-50. 

I will not repurchase it since it makes my skin dry.
