Drugstore Haul 2018

Hi everyone. Today will be my first haul post, pardon me if there are any deficiencies in the post. Apologies for the lack of posts as I’ve just overwhelmed with blogging slump and work.

BUT those things that can lead to stress can go away with – SHOPPING. It is not a kind of heavy spending shopping but those mini quickies during lunch or after work, which is no longer than 15 minutes! Cool enough. Plus spaghetti bolognese and chicken chop and chicken popcorn!

Guardian Watsons Haul 2018

In fact, I’m not kind of people that will make quick move when listen about sale. Whenever I go to the drugstore, I just don’t care whether some stuff was offers with a great deals or not cause I focused with things I’m gonna buy only. If those things on sale, maybe because of luck. Heh.

1. Simple Refreshing Facial Wash Gel 150ml (RM17.63)

I run out my cleanser then I decided to grab this one because first, I’d never use any skincare from Simple brand yet and I think it will be a good start by using the cleanser. Second, because this cleanser is the gel type and low pH cleanser which is I read from Kak Iman blog that low pH cleanser will not make damage our skin barrier.

About low pH cleanser : Low pH cleanser  & 5 Low pH Cleanser Under RM30

2. Simple Soothing Facial Toner 200ml (RM15.95)

I noticed people has been raving about this product which made me curios to try it out. Without waste any time, I went and grab this, and with hopeful of this afforable and with fragrance free will be nice for me!

3. Silkygirl No-Sebum Mineral Powder (RM 19.44)

Silkygirl. One of my favourite local products. I don’t remember from where I listen about loose powder. Maybe when I keep googling about oily skin type and how to endure with it. One of the solutions for this skin type is loose powder over the pressed powder. Because loose powder leaves the skin with soft glow.

I actually want to give a try on Revlon New Complexion Loose Powder but Revlon price tag not cooperating with me, so I continue to choose another brand –> Silkygirl. So I take it like ‘time to support our local brand, girl’

4. Maybelline Super BB Cushion Fresh Matte 03 Natural (RM 26.40)

I’m a huge Maybelline brand. From RM65.50, I got this Bb Cushion  for RM26 only from Watsons Lazada (Silkygirl too) Proudly say that I succeeded in making my sister jealous with me by purchased this Bb Cushion *evil laugh*

5. Aiken Tea Tree Oil Moisturiser (RM10.48)

I only used Aiken products when in breakout phase because of the effect of used stupid local product but I’d never use Aiken moisturiser because of Guardian worker told me the cleanser, toner and pimple cream will be good enough. Less is more. Will use it as day cream due it light texture cream by the way

6. Crystal Moist Hydra Ion+ Moisturising Face Cream (RM32.97)

Alright, there’s 50 discount on this brand at Guardian. At first I want to try the basic hydrating set which is cleanser. toner and moisturizer, the gel and cream thought about to use the gel type as day moisturizer and the cream one as night moisturizer but sadly there’s no gel type. Maybe it out of stock and I do not cross the mind to ask the worker. That’s when I went to Simple section and grab the gel cleanser and toner. I’ll use as my night cream due to it thick texture than Aiken.

7. Guardian Cooton Facial Squares Buy 3 Free 1 (RM9.88)

Bought this on RM9.88 ONLY. I gave to my Umi one and for my sister and I keep two box with me 😛

That’s all I have for you guys today! Have you guys tried any of these products? Let me know in the comment section. 😀

Nano White Awakening Snow Wash

As I can remember, I have used Nano White Awakening Snow Wash quite a long time ago, I don’t really remember when I actually started bought and used it. I started using it when my mother said Nano White is a good skincare products.

I don’t know if I’ll use cleanser from another brand, sooner or later but right now I’ll stick with this one. So, now I’ll make a review about this cleanser.

Awakening Snow Wash is a unique, snowy cool cleanser that moisturizes as it cleanses, and does not strip your skin off its natural protective film. Happy Dermalogy TM and nano-technology give your skin a happy glow, leaving it fairer, refreshed and renewed.

My Review

I have a combination skin (oily, normal) so I need a cleanser that’s not make my skin feels irritated and hydrated at the same time. Of course foaming cleanser suits for my skin type.

This cleanser has a white , thick and creamy white cream . Compare to the other foam cleanser , this cleanser has rich and thin bubble, as claimed by it name, snow wash, that makes my skin feels clean and fresh. But there’s no cool sensation of the cleanser although it says ‘snowy cool cleanser’.

The most thing I love about this cleanser because it doesn’t make my skin feels irritated and dry. When I used it, there’s no whiteheads, blackheads and pimples which is mean this product is worthy.

Some people say, this cleanser can reduce pores size and lighten acne scars but not on my skin. I still need a face scrub and brightening serum to clear my acne scars.

  • Affordable
  • Nice packaging
  • Rich and thin bubble
  • Suitable for all skin types
  • Available at any drugstores

  • Contains paraben
  • Contains fragrance

I don’t recommend this cleanser to you who’s having a sensitive skin and who’s don’t want paraben in their skincare regiment but I’d rather use it as long as I can because of it’s hard to find cleanser that’s suits very well with your skin plus with the affordable price nowadays.

Good Virtues Co. Brightening CC Cream SPF30

This is my first time I’ve been trying CC cream. Before this, I didn’t even know what Cc cream is because I only focus on foundation and BB cream.

When I went to the Watsons with my mother to find another BB cream because of I already run out my favorite Maybelline BB cream (I always put a lot of it on my face)  then I guessed it’s time for buy a new one. One of the Watsons’s worker suggested me to trying another brand, which called Good Virtues Co.  So, as started, I began with Glowing and Goodness Brightening CC Cream from Good Virtues Co.

Glowing and Goodness Brightening CC Cream from Good Virtues Co. 20 ml for RM21.00

It’s took me a few minutes to think about it, should I or shouldn’t I. After a while (or should I say when the worker looked at me with her big eyes ‘buy it girl, buy it) I decided to buy it.

What’s I can say is Good Virtues Co Brightening CC Cream is too bright for my skin tone. I have a yellow skin tone and this CC cream is too bright for my skin and make me think “Am I looked like a Korean?”. But according to the Good Virtues Co :-

Infused with purifying Organic Habbatus Sauda Oil (Organic Black Seed Oil) and natural Himalayan extracts, this lightweight, lightening formula brightens your skin’s natural tone for a glowing, illuminating appearance

I wish there’s a few shade of cc cream we can choose to fit it with our tone.

But the good news is how it covered my uneven skin tone, redness around my nose and my acne scars, it might too bright but despite that, I’m satisfied with the nice coverage of the Cc cream, thought it not as good as the foundation.

This Brightening Cc Cream can only be used for six months, which fit for 20ml tube. Not forget to mention about the price tag. With the affordable price, only RM 21.00, who doesn’t love to have it on our makeup table, am I right?

Another best things about this CC Cream which consists SPF 30 PA +++ UVA/UVB Defence, also free from Mineral Oil, SLES, ALES, Parabens, synthetic colourants, and are not tested on animals.

We only use 100% non-animal derived ingredients in our products. – Good Virtues Co
