Hi. This is me, your chipsmore blogger. Today, I’ll review my first sunscreen I ever use, Bioré UV Perfect Protect Milk Moisture. I read about sunscreen but it wasn’t interesting enough for me, but I saw this sunscreen at convenience store near my house when I got there for Slurpee, without take a long time to think yes or no yes or no, I just grabbed and pay.

Whitecast : It has a minimal whitecast but I think it’s not a big deal.

Directions : Shake before use. Apply to the face and neck before sun exposure. Reapply if necessary. 

How I use this : As usual, you should apply your sunscreen on the last step in your AM skincare routine, after moisturizer and before makeup.

As for me, for basic skincare routine : Cleanser –> Moisturizer –> Sunscreen

Not so basic skincare routine : Cleanser –> Hydrating Toner –> Brightening Essence –> Serum –> Moisturizer + Facial Oil –> Sunscreen

I use Bioré UV Perfect Protect Milk Moisture before I proceed to go out without put any makeup on my face. Not even BB cream. Except for pinkish lip balm so I wouldn’t look so pale. Enough to say that I use this during the day I lazy enough, too lazy even to put on mascara.

Fragrance : Yup. Since there’s fragrance in the ingredients list, I’m not surprised by the scent of the sunscreen when I use it. To be honest, I’m not the best person when it’s time to describe about fragrance. But as much as I can tell, there only slightly scent and I’m not bothered with it.

Since it have alcohol as their 4th ingredients, I bet it the smell of the alcohol but it’s not that bad lah. Unless you got bad reaction to the alcohol and fragrance

Irritation/Sting the eyes : This sunscreen not irritated my eyes which is good for me.

Good under makeup : Whatever products is you love the most, there’s always comes with prons and cons. Sadly Biore UV Perfect Protect Milk Moisture

How long I have been using this : I’ve been exposed to the skincare knowledge around 2014-2015, but I only started using sunscreen around 2016. This Bioré UV Perfect Protect Milk Moisture is my first ever sunscreen I ever use. I still purchase this sunscreen although I try another sunscreen from another brand.

That means I using this sunscreen like almost a year, maybe? and yes I like it.

Effects : Matte finish.

Final rating and conclusion : I can give this sunscreen 5/5, I got burn from the sunlight, my skin doesn’t looks oily since it has matte finish. Plus I discovered this sunscreen at convenience store which make it easy if you want to topup your sunscreen for travel. But, listen to me, just go buy it at your near drugstore since it will be cheaper than usual.

Would I repurchased : Since this sunscreen is affordable and easy to get, also, I’d spent uncountable money on this my go-to sunscreen for giving me protection from sun exposed. Of course I’ll keep repurchased it over and over.
