Nanowhite Microfoliating Clay Cleanser Review

Salam and greetings to all. I’ve tried a new cleanser from my favorite brand, Nanowhite. It’s not a new one from the brand lah, but I’m just excited to try it and for me, it’s still a new one because I’ve never purchased another cleanser from Nanowhite before. So, without waste any time, here we go, Nanowhite Microfoliating Clay Cleanser review.

Product Info : This deep-purifying cleanser contains fine particles of Natural Sea Clay to cleanse impurities trapped within the pores. It smoothes uneven patches and boosts skin renewal for a fairer and crystal clear complexion.

Price : RM20 100ml

Nanowhite Microfoliating Clay Cleanser

Review : Before this, I tried Nanowhite Awakening Snow Wash, and because I feel comfortable when using it I kept repurchasing it non-stop. But then, I thought I needed to learn to use another cleanser other than my regular cleanser. So, I purchased this Microfoliating Clay Cleanser from Nanowhite since I read some reviews how good this cleanser is. I purchased this cleanser together with Nanowhite Clarifying Cleansing Milk at Watsons because I wanna try their cleansing milk since it is affordable.

So how good is this cleanser actually? I am satisfied with the cleanser because it cleanses very well, just like it claims. This is proven when I apply toner with facial cotton to remove any left impurities after cleanse but there’s nothing left on the facial cotton. But of course there’s something that makes me also unsatisfied with it. I found it quite drying and tight after using it for my skin although I’m not using ’60 second technique’. There are two types of ingredients in the cleanser which work as an astringent, Vitex Agnus and Castus Extract. Not only that, there’s also Potassium Hydroxide. You may know or may not know that potassium hydroxide is used for controlling the pH of the skin, as for me it is quite drying for my skin.

Nanowhite Microfoliating Clay Cleanser

What makes this cleanser different than Nanowhite Awakening Snow Wash is the color of the cover of tube. While Awakening Snow Wash has a green cover color, Microfoliating has a white one, so you can tell the difference at a glance. Whatever it is, I love the white packaging of Nanowhite Microfoliating Clay Cleanser more because it looks neat and pure.

When I used this cleanser, I found out I need to squeeze the tube quite hard to use it. I was like ‘why it really hard’ this part really pisses me off. Somehow I think that the cleanser itself doesn’t want me to use it 😂. But I try to think positive. The texture of the cleanser itself clarifies everything. The texture Nanowhite chose is clay and contains small particles which it’s said on the packaging for the deep cleanse. Maybe that’s why it’s quite hard to squeeze to use it. But overall I can’t say I love this cleanser 100% or hate it. Maybe just 50-50.

I will not repurchase it since it makes my skin dry.

Purchase Biore Cleansing Oil Make Up Remover

Biore Cleansing Oil

My Review and Rating

5/5 – So yeah, Biore Cleansing Oil actually my first purchase of cleansing oils back on 2017 when I first learned about double cleansing method. It comes with 150ml for RM24, of course you can get a cheaper price if any drugstores make a weekend or monthly sales, I got mine RM20. After few days I went back to the drugstore and guess what? They sell it at RM17 each, maybe I should survey of the product through the drugstore website before making a purchase T.T

When I purchased this cleansing oil for the first time back then, there’s slightly different but the new one is better. Look simple than before but in a good way. Biore use a pump packaging which is good for cleansing oil, with purplish flat plastic container, makes it look beautiful.

This cleansing oil has fragrance but my skin can adapt to fragrance since it does not stay on the skin, some people might can’t stand with fragrance and prefer to the unscented one, but I’m glad my skin not that annoying. I’m not into fragrance that much, just so so, not so strong scent so I’m good to go.

This one use mineral oil as you can see on the ingredients list, so my concern, if your skin can’t tolerate with mineral oil, this cleansing oil definitely not for you. But my skin has a good relationship with mineral oil. Not tiny bumps, no redness and so on unless I’m not cleanse my face well or over exfoliate.

Note : It says it suits with all skin types but beware if your skin sensitive to the alcohol, fragrance and mineral oil.

The best cleansing oil or balm when it can emulsify very well on the skin. Biore cleansing oil really did the job. Through it hardly to spread on the face, but it’s emulsifier ingredients did different things. Everything has a pros and cons. Hiks.

What I like :

  • Affordable
  • Easy to get, like Guardian or Watsons
  • The fragrance is so good
  • Washes off the SPF
  • A pump packaging is bae

What don’t like :

  • Hard to spread on the skin
  • Need to use a lot if you wears makeup

Hope my review can help you guys out.

Nanowhite Awakening Snow Wash, My Holy Grail Cleanser

Salam and greetings to all. Nanowhite Awakening Snow Wash is the most cleanser I kept repurchased and used it without any problems. So today, I’ll share with you my thoughts about this cleanser after using it for a long time.

nanowhite awakening snow wash

Product Info : Awakening Snow Wash is a unique, snowy cool cleanser that moisturizes as it cleanses, and does not strip your skin off its natural protective film. Happy Dermalogy TM and nano-technology give your skin a happy glow, leaving it fairer, refreshed and renewed.

Price and packaging : RM20 100ml

Ingredients : Water, Glycerin, Myristic Acid, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, Palmitic Acid, Stearic Acid, Potassium Hydroxide, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Lauramide DEA, Butylene Glycol, PEG-150 Distearate, PEG-75, Decyl Glucoside, Beeswax, Fragrance, Ascorbyl Glucoside, Lecithin, Vitex Agnus Castus Extract, Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate, Tocopherol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Cyclodextrin, Arbutin, Linolenic Acid, Linoleic Acid, Tocopheryl Acetate, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Glutathione, Tetrasodium EDTA, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Butylparaben, BHT.

Review : I’ve been using Nanowhite skincare almost a year and half. The reason why I kept purchasing and using it is because it doesn’t make my skin dry when I use it. Although it is foamy, it’s not make my skin feel tight after using it. With 100ml, it can last almost 4 month and I was like ‘whaaaat’. Normally, whenever I use any cleansers before like 100ml there’s only the last 3 month but not with Nanowhite Awakening Snow Wash, so it leaves me with a good impression.

Next, fragrance. As you can see on the ingredients list, this cleanser contains fragrance. But I don’t know how to describe the smell? Since it only cleanser I don’t mind whether it smells like citrus or whatnot. Many people out there will avoid fragrance in the skincare especially if their skin is sensitive towards it.

nanowhite awakening snow wash

Not to mention about the paraben in this cleanser. Nanowhite Awakening Snow Wash uses three types of paraben and all three of them are listed down among the last ingredients list as well. So, what is paraben? Parabens are effective preservatives in many types of formulas in cosmetics (skincare and makeup). That’s why I wouldn’t mind about paraben in my skincare products since it’s only preservatives, to make sure and prevent the growth of harmful bacteria and mold in our products so it’s can last for 6 months or 12 months or 18 months or even 24 months from the date the product was produced.

This cleanser comes in 100ml for RM20 but you can get cheaper during sales. So far, I never bought any cleanser with a price tag more than RM20 because I am such a cheapskate person. Shame on me. Haha. More than that, a cleanser only used to get rid of any water based impurities like sweat, dirt etc. Not to clear out your sun spots or acne scars or any serious skin problems. So I think purchasing a cleanser with a higher price is wasteful (said by a cheapskate). But of course it’s all up to you. If you feel comfortable with spending your money on expensive cleansers and it’s totally worth it, go on. But not me.

If you need a cleanser that cleanses your skin well, affordable, foamy but does not tend to make your skin feel tight, this cleanser is for you.
