Emina Sun Battle SPF30 PA+++ Review

Posted on Jul 5, 2022 in Beauty, Face

I went to the Watsons although I’m not into Watsons that much because they are always force us to take the basket and keep asking us to buy the stuff behind the counter, but you know you got something to buy and urgent to get it and the drugstore just in front of your eyes, so you just ‘hmm let’s go’.

Do you curious why I buy this Emina Sun Battle SPF30 PA+++ at the first place? First, Iman’s tweeted about Emina products and how good it is. Second, I’m running out my favorite 3W sunscreen and I don’t think I can wait almost a week. And the last one, that’s the most cheaper and affordable compared to other sunscreen plus RM12 for 60ml will be sooo good for someone like me.

Where to purchase : I got it from Watsons but you guys can get it from Shopee

Brand : Emina Cosmetics

Made in : Indonesia

Good for : Suitable for all skin types

Ingredients :

aqua, ethanol, ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, glyceryl stearate, diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate, demiticon, butylene glycol, phenoxyethanol, triethanolamine, aloe vera (plant) extract, panthenol, polyvinyl alcohol, propylene glycol, acrylates/c10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer, fragrance, hydrolyzed wheat protein/pvp crosspolymer, bht, disodium edta, ethylhexylglycerin, xanthan gum, potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate

Packaging : Emina Sun Battle got a tube packaging with mostly white, a little bit of orange and blue color.

Direction : Apply to your skin and neck 15 minutes before going outside

How I use this product : As usual, will apply after moisturizer. I can’t skip moisturizer with this sunscreen because my skin doesn’t feel moisturizing enough. I think because of the texture.

Normally, I will skip moisturizer if my sunscreen thick enough. Just cleanser, 3 or 4 layer of Hatomugi Skin Conditioner and sunscreen with a creamy texture will be fine. But, Emina Sun Battle texture is not that thick, so I need to apply my Aiken Tea Tree Oil Moisturizer no matter what.

Texture : Emina Sun Battle SPF30 PA+++ texture remind me to the Guardian Sunscreen but the color is not as yellowish as the Guardian one.

Irritation/Sting the eyes : I don’t get irritated with the sunscreen, there’s no redness which is I like

How long I have been using this product : I use it around a month and half.

What I Like:

  • No whitecast
  • Affordable
  • Tube packaging
  • 60ml will be good

What I Don’t Like:

  • The texture but it only my preference

Overall rating and conclusion : ★★★★☆ I rate this sunscreen 4 out of 5. I love the cooling sensation on my skin when I applied this sunscreen on my face. Yup there’s cooling sensation effect because of the aloe vera I think. Plus there’s no whitecast which is a good news for tan skin too. Some people hate whitecast cause by the sunscreen. This sunscreen is suitable for somebody who’s beginner in the skincare, and students too because of how affordable it is. 60ml will last around two months I think unless you apply a lot of sunscreen.

Would I repurchased : I’ll repurchase because of the price tag :p
