Muji Sensitive Moisturising Milk Moisture

Muji Sensitive Moisturising Milk – Moisture Review

What’s up guys? Today I will write a review of my new favorite moisturizer; Muji Sensitive Moisturising Milk (Moisture). I’ve been wanting to try this moisturizer since I’m so in love with any skincare products from Japan.I knew about Muji sometime ago but keep purchase another stuff that distracts me from what I really lusting. There’s no Muji store in Kelantan, but lucky me, Muji sell their products on Shopee, so I check out this moisturizer with excitement.

Nowadays, a lot of brands keep labeled their moisturizers as a milk or mask, so some people just feel confused about it, including me. That’s why you need to make sure to read the description of products carefully, read some reviews also can help you. To purchase and trying a new moisturizer is quite tough decision since your skin can breakout if the products doesn’t suitable with your skin. You also need to think about your skin types, what your skin is sensitive towards any ingredients, and so on. It’s just a lot to think about and this things make me really have the hard times

Muji Sensitive Moisturising Milk Moisture

Impression(s): First thing first, I purchased a huge size; 400ml as a first time user, but I’m not regret because it suits me fine. I don’t know how I could have been decided to purchase the huge ones but turn out, I really like it. I love how they put on the bottle how much it left.

Texture(s): Muji Sensitive Moisturising Milk – Moisture have a milky texture as moisturizer. It’s not too runny and not too thick, it just between them, which is suits with my combination skin well.

Usage(s): I used this Muji Sensitive Moisturising Milk (Moisture) twice a day in my morning and night skincare routine. I don’t need a lot of it because a little goes a long way. And, just for your information, if I overuse this moisturizer, I realized my skin feels a bit sticky and need a minute or two to make sure this stickiness on my skin go away. I layered this moisturizer on the last step every night and before I put on my sunscreen on the morning routine but I’ll make sure to use hydrating toner or hydrating essence as long as it hydrating because it feels better in that way.

Result(s): The delivery guy delivered this moisturizer to me on the evening and I use it before sleep after apply toner on the same day. I more love it when I use it on my damp face, it just makes it feel more moisturizing and my dry patch around my nose and eyes is gone.

The only cons of the moisturizer is it taking time to fully absorb into the skin. I need to sit down in front of the fan and keep dabbing my face until it fully absorb but I don’t mind that. If you need to be hurry in the morning, maybe you wouldn’t like this.

Use Hatomugi Skin Conditioner before put on this moisturizer and then I end it with Skin Aqua UV Moisture Gel is da bomb. My skin loves the combination so much. To make it simple -> Water Texture Toner + Milky Type Moisturizer + Gel Type Sunscreen. It really good for me, but, mind you, it’s your mileage may vary.

Overall: Now I want to say that I love this moisturizer so much. Thanks to Muji for creating a good moisturizer for a combination skin people like me. Beside it bottle packaging which is my favorite kind of packaging of moisturizer. You know how hygienic it is compared to the jar packaging.

For 400ml, I’m sure I’m will take a long time to finish it, almost a year maybe? Because I purchased it around early April, and now it end of June and I just use 100ml of it. So 100ml moisturizer can last for a three months (as for me) so that’s mean 400 ml can last a year maybe? We’ll see hahahaha.

I’m not sure whether I’ll repurchased this one or not after I’m finish it. Maybe I’ll feel boring and tend to try another new moisturizer but since it’s doesn’t cause me breakout, I’ll love it forever and always will.

Price & where to buy : It retails for RM59.90 for 400ml. You can purchase this moisturizer at Muji store near you, Muji website or Muji Shopee Mall.

Rosken Sensitive Skin Cream

Rosken Sensitive Skin Cream Review

[disclosure]

Rosken Sensitive Skin Cream made me wanna try them so hard because of the name itself, Sensitive Skin Cream. Normally, a moisturizer for sensitive skin types will suits all of the skin types, whether it’s normal, combination, oily, acne prone or even dry skin types.

Moisturizer that focus on sensitive skin will not put any harm ingredients in the product because sensitive skin can’t tolerate with some ingredients. So, this Sensitive Skin Cream from Rosken might be good for my skin.

What is this : A moisturizer without any SLS, parabens and fragrance or any harm ingredients. Really suits for any who needs a simple moisturizer in their skincare routine.

Price : RM 22 for twin pack, RM 16 if you buy only one.

Volume : 75 ml

Brand : Rosken

Where to purchase : I purchased this cream at Guardian on Shopee

Product description :

A soothing non-greasy formula that absorbs easily into the skin using a combination of rich moisturising ingredients that assist in the prevention and repair of dry sensitive skin, keeping skin feeling moisturised, soft and smooth.

Good for : Anybody who needs a fast absorb moisturizer, can deal with essential oils in the ingredients. Normal, combination and oily skin types would love this cream.

Packaging : This moisturizer come with a tube packaging with a turquoise color of flap lid which is I found it great for travel friendly and also hygienic. There’s also come in bottle with a pump and a jar too but I think a tube packaging is the best between all.

Rosken Sensitive Skin Cream Review

Texture : Though the name is Rosken Sensitive Skin Cream, the texture is not thick as it supposed to be. What I can say from the texture, although it said cream on the packaging, it not thick as another cream. It texture more to lotion-gel texture, so normal, oily and combination skin types would definitely love it.

I can totally tell from using this that this is going to be fun for those who get easily clogged pores / live in hot and humid climates like Malaysia here and those who have oily or combination skin types. But dry skin types will don’t like it as much as normal, oily and combination skin types. They might need interested in Rosken Dry Skin Cream or another heavy texture moisturizer.

Rosken Sensitive Skin Cream Review

Direction of use : Massage into the skin morning and night after showering or whenever skin feels dry

How I use this : I apply this usually in the AM before my sunblock. It goes: Tone – this cream – SPF. In the PM routine : Double cleansing – Tone – this cream. But if I use exfoliate toner, I will use another cream, the heavy texture one.

Fragrance : None – Rosken have purposefully made this for sensitive skins. So, it really, really good moisturizer for anyone who sensitive towards fragrance. (Although I assume that not everybody skin is sensitive with fragrances, maybe just a little of them. But, everything is on your skin reaction)

How long I have been using this : 4-5 weeks. I think I applied it quite a lot included in my midday routine. Right now, I already open the second tube since I bought a twin pack.

The Effects : My skin type is combination with oily on the T-zone and normal on the U-zone. Using this cream made my T-zone area less oily which is a good thing that I notice. I also reapplying this cream after prayer before reapplying sunscreen to make sure my skin looks less oily.

What I like :

  • Easy to spread
  • No irritation during using this cream
  • Affordable
  • Easy to get i.e drugstores Aeon Wellness, Guardian, Watsons
  • No fragrance
  • Fast absorb into the skin

What I don’t like : Nothing so far

Final rating and conclusion :

4/5 stars.

If I want to try moisturizer that suits with my skin type but I don’t want to waste my time or money, I’ll choose this cream. Maybe this Rosken Sensitive Skin Cream don’t have any ingredients for brightening or hydrating, but as long as it makes my oily T-zone looks less oily when I applied it on the face, I don’t have any problems with it.

Would I repurchased? : Yes, whenever I need a budget friendly moisturizer although it’s not hydrating as I expected. It’s cool though to be my go-to moisturizer since it cheap and easy to get at any drugstores including Aeon Wellness.

Rosken Dry Skin Cream Review

Today, I’d like to write a review and share my thoughts about Rosken Dry Skin Cream since this moisturizer also one of my drugstore wishlist.

Actually my sister bought it at Guardian for her since she has dry skin types and I was like ‘Ohh she gonna use a moisturizer. Finally…’ because she’s not such a person who gives a care when it comes to skincare. Lucky her, she only need a moisturizer that gives her hydration because the only problem with her skin is dryness, no pimples, no acne scars no whiteheads and blackheads.

Rosken Sensitive Skin Cream
What It Claims

Provides long term protection whilst repairing and replenishing lost moisture to your skin. It works by forming a protective layer to seal in moisture for your skin. And because it’s non-greasy and absorbs quickly into the skin, you can feel the difference immediately from the first application.

Price / Packaging / Texture / Scent

RM14.37 for 75ml. There’s also has 250ml, 375ml and 500ml. It comes in a white opaque tube packaging with a dark blue flip top lid. This is the best packaging for a moisturizer since the anti-oxidant is protected and keeping them stable, unlike jar packaging. I prefer a tube packaging instead of the jar ones since it also travel-friendly.
It’s a bit thick white creamy and took a few minutes to absorbs into my skin.

Who Will Not Love This?

Oilier skin type since this is quite thick, any who their skin can’t tolerate with alcohol, mineral oil, paraben and fragrance since this cream contains all of them.

Maybe yes or maybe not, because I want to purchase another moisturizers.

My Experience With This Moisturizer

I used this as a normal moisturiser, day and night. My skincare routine with this moisturizer :

Day Routine :
1. Water-based cleanser
2. Moisturize – Rosken Dry Skin Cream
3. Sunscreen

Night Routine :
1. Oil-based cleanser
2. Water-based cleanser
3. Moisturize – Rosken Dry Skin Cream

At the first time I applied this cream, it felt quite greasy but still tolerable. After a few hours, my T-zone started sweating and made me feels unpleasant but I keep using it and now it’s just feel better.
Another thing that I like when apply this cream on my face, I felt it enough to apply without hydrating toner or any essence but if you think that your skin still feel a little bit tight, just apply any hydrating toner / essence / serum before apply this cream. This cream doesn’t clogged my pores, that’s why I kept using it.

Have you tried this cream before? What do you like and hate about this cream?

Olay Moisturising Lotion Review

[disclosure]

Olay Moisturising Lotion is my first product I purchased and use from Olay’s brand. I know there a lot of Olay product ranges from 20s to 50s, from oily to dry skin types, from combination to normal skin types. Honestly, to use any of Olay products never crossed my mind before. Whenever I came to the drugstore, I have no interest towards Olay. Not a little bit.

If you ask me why, first because I thought Olay only for mature woman like 30s and 50s. Second is because of their price tag. For me, their price range is quite high although my mom kept saying that Olay is not that expensive.

During Guardian All Cosmetic Brands 50% which started from 22 to 26 May 2019, for the very first time, I purchased my first moisturizer from Olay brand. That not means this is first time I purchased a moisturizer. I used some moisturizer from another brands before, and then I decided to tries moisturizer from Olay. To see whether it suits for me or not.

So here my review of Olay Moisturising Lotion.

What is this : A lightweight moisturizer with a lotion texture.

Price : RM 41.50

Volume : 150 ml

Brand : Olay

Made in : Thailand

Where to purchase : P&G Store on Shopee

Product description :

This lotion is formulated with ingredients to help improve and maintain youthful looking skin.

With Coconut & Castor Seed Oil , its formula:
– Is designed to be light, non-greasy and quickly absorbed into skin.
– Quickly replenishes essential moisture.

Results: OLAY moisturising lotion has been shown to:
– Significantly boost skin hydration.
– Leave skin soft and smooth.

Good for : People with normal, combination skin types. For oily skin types, I’m scared it’ll be quite greasy for you, but since this is moisturiser with a lotion type, which is lighter than the usual cream types, maybe it’ll be fine. Anything is depends on your skin. For sensitive skin types, you should check the ingredients that’s can make your skin worse first before purchase. For dry skin, maybe this moisturizer will be not moisturizing enough for your skin or maybe yes. Again, depends on your skin.

Key ingredients :

Full Ingredients : water, glycerin, sorbitan stearate, dimethicone, mineral oil, petrolatum, cetyl ricinoleate, dimethiconol, cetyl alcohol, sucrose cocoate, phenoxyethanol, methylparaben, glyceryl hydroxystearate, fragrance, steareth-100, disodium edta, sodium hydroxide, propylparaben, carbomer, acrylates/c10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer, stearic acid, palmitic acid, ci 17200

Packaging :

Texture :

Direction of use : Smooth evenly over your entire cleansed face and neck morning and night.

How I use this :

Fragrance Irritation Sting the eyes Good under makeup

How long I have been using this : I bought this on 25 May and now it’s July so that’s mean I used it almost two months

Effects : For me, I noticed that my T-zone is less oily than before. There are not brightening effect or what not because Olay Moisturising Lotion for me is just a basic moisturizer without adding any special ingredient for special needs.

But I love it when my skin got smoother day by day when using this moisturizer during AM and PM routine. For you want brightening effect, I’m sorry but using this moisturizer alone is not help, you might want to add any brightening serum or essence in your skincare routine.

What I like :

  • Their simple packaging
  • Mild fragrance
  • Fast absorb to the skin

What I don’t like :

  • Nothing so far

Final rating and conclusion :

4.5 stars

Would I repurchased : Yup especially when there’s Guardian All Skincare Brands 40% or 50% because I can get it cheaper from the regular price.
